Store Manager
UGG House by All Things Australian Pty Ltd
Brand Smart, Nunawading

Salary negotiable based on experience

Fluent English speakers only!

We are an authorised retailer of international luxury sheepskin and leather brands- UGG, EMU Australia and Blundstone. We are currently looking for a full time, hands on Store Manager for our store in Brand Smart Nunawading.

Duties include but are not limited to:
– Managing day to day operations of the retail store- emails, opening and closing procedures etc.
– Managing a team of up to 8 staff.
– Provide exceptional customer service ensuring customers receive the best experience in store.
– Managing and mentoring retail staff- provide staff training with store procedures and product knowledge, reviewing staff performance
– Managing social media content (Facebook, Instagram, wechat)
– Managing fortnightly rosters based on sales budgets
– Inventory stock control- identifying slow moving stock and fast-moving stock, forecasting purchase orders directly with suppliers, selecting, planning and buying stock for new season, goods received, stock transfers to and from various locations.
– Visual merchandising- changing store displays and layout to reflect sales or new season
– Dealing with customer returns, complaints, warranties and claims.
– Liasing with suppliers
– Responding to customer emails, messages and phone enquiries.
– Banking
– Processing website and online platform orders

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience
– Retail experience in a management role (eg. Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, Supervisor)
– Flexibility to work on a rotated fortnightly roster, weekdays, weekends and or public holidays as required. Full availability over Christmas peak period (October to February) is a must.
– Outstanding leadership skills
– Have a positive ‘can- do’ attitude
– Current drivers licence and a car
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Willing to learn about luxury sheepskin product and leathers
– Willing to learn about industrial safety footwear
– Strong and professional customer service skills
– Works well autonomously (unsupervised) and in a team environment
– Time management and organisation skills
– Strong problem solving and decision making skills
– Can work under pressure to meet deadlines
– Bilingual in Chinese and other Asian languages is preferred but not essential
